Dr. Drew Schiavano, University of Maryland Extension - Western Maryland REC
Drew has presented workshops across Maryland guiding attendees to make better-informed choices about energy savings...and renewable energy options.
Brent Cammerauf, National Resource Conservation Center (NRCS)
Brent has over years experience serving farmers who are deciding to improve the carbon footprint and operational benefits of their land-and-water usage. Energy savings plans are funded though NRCS for FARMS. Brent will share examples of successes and how your farm may both qualify and and apply for NRCS benefits.
Amy Lowman, First Energy (an EMPOWER utility)
Amy's position heading Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural business incentives support is guided by the Statewide EmPOWER program which helps certain Maryland electric utilities provide no cost energy savings assessments for businesses in their service territories. There are many programs available, including custom projects supporting programs for businesses which are expanding.
